It has no added artificial flavor or chemical ingredients and is always safe to use. We all know that afternoon sunlight has high content of UV rays and harmful for our skin. It is better to use face pack to improve skin texture.

Here are some popular homemade face packs that you can make at home and get ready for cycling for the next day.

1. Glowy Besan (gram flour) Pack

This is a classic face pack that is widely used by many women and men to regain their natural skin. Due to a lot of pollution, we often ignore caring for our skin on a daily basis. This besan pack is suitable for all skin types. It helps to cleanse, exfoliate, and brighten the skin.

  • To make it, mix together 2 tablespoons of besan (gram flour), 1 tablespoon of yogurt, and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  • Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15–20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.

2. Rosewater and Sandalwood Pack

Do you have oily skin, or do you keep struggling with sweaty and dark complexions? No worries at all. I have personally tested the rosewater and Sandalwood packs. It is suitable for both women and men. I urge that the best months to apply this pack are from winter to summer. This face pack is good for oily and acne-prone skin.

It helps to control oil production and reduce acne breakouts.

  1. To make it, mix together 2 tablespoons of rosewater, 1 tablespoon of sandalwood powder, and a few drops of lemon juice.
  2. Additionally, you can add honey in small quantities. It will help clean up the pores at a deep level.
  3. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15–20 minutes for a better result. Rinse it off with cold water, avoid lukewarm water.
  4. If you use lukewarm water, it will not close the open pores, and dirt may get back into them and settle there again.

3. Papaya Pack

A papaya face pack is good for dry skin. It helps to moisturize and exfoliate the skin. It is very easy, and you can prepare it with a simple recipe.

  1. To make it, mash half a papaya and mix it with 1 tablespoon of honey.
  2. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Rinse it off with warm water.

4. Lemon-Tomato Pack

A lemon-tomato face pack is good for dull and uneven skin. It helps to brighten and even out the skin tone. Due to its powerful lemon properties, it cleanses the pores and gets the dirt and mud out of the skin. The Lemon-Tomato Pack is super easy to make at home.

5. Saffron face Pack

The Saffron Pack is suitable for all skin types and is widely used in India. If your skin has become dull, It will help to brighten, tighten, and reduce wrinkles. Therefore, in short, it will slow down aging. Like other face packs, it is simple to make at home.

To make a saffron face pack, soak 3–4 strands of saffron in warm milk for 30 minutes. Saffron will be infused into the milk, giving it an orage color.

  1. Mix the saffron milk with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of yogurt.
  2. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for 15–20 minutes.
  3. Rinse it off with cold water.

These are just a few examples of homemade face packs that you can make. There are many other recipes available online and in books. When choosing a face pack.

What precautions should you take when making these homemade face packs?

  1. Use fresh and organic ingredients to get the best result.
  2. Choose ingredients that are appropriate for your skin type. Give it a try first.
  3. Mix the ingredients together until they form a smooth paste.
  4. Apply the mask to your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
  5. Leave the mask on for 15–20 minutes as per recommendations (depending on skin type).
  6. Rinse the mask off with warm water. Pat your face dry with a clean towel (use cotton towel).

First, give it a try. It is important to test a small amount of the face pack on your skin before applying it to your entire face. This will aid in the prevention of allergic reactions.

Homemade face packs can be a great way to improve the health and appearance of your skin. They are also a more natural and affordable alternative to commercial face masks. Thus, it is always safe to use.
