Often things do not go as we plan despite however the best efforts, we put in. The only solace is, we can learn and grow from what life teaches us, no matter what!
Perception is everything. The difficult situations in life we often face can be changed or improved just by simply being positive and looking at the bigger picture. Learn to Forgive as forgiveness benefits two people — the giver and receiver. The bravest thing you can do in a bad situation is to forgive and move on. Do not allow grudges to add to the weight you carry on the road to your own success. Let go and accept the flaws and imperfections of others and if possible, give them a second chance.
Life is a journey and the joy is in the journey, not the destination
Don’t compromise too much with yourself, like when we try to impress others, when someone criticizes us, when we go through some hurdles, we try to over compromise with our original self. Don’t do that by sacrificing your self-esteem. Don’t lose your integrity ever.
What will the society say?? Society does not understand that the words they speak alongwith their actions are affecting a person. Society will say and forget. How many times have you stopped doing something that your heart aspires to do because of what others may think? We are all victims of this. Society do not run your house. So, one has to be strong and embrace the person as we are. Why do we care what anyone in society thinks or believes? We should only care about what we think of ourselves and that should always be important to focus on.
Don’t’ trust anyone. Always give someone only how much they give you. Trust is like a crumpled paper. It will never be the same after being broken. Don’t become an over lover. Don’t love everyone because you will not always get your love. Don’t give up your sanity on them, they don’t care. The love we give away is the only love we keep. Choose yourself and your self-respect over anyone. Learn and accept that people leave, even after you have died trying to keep them in your life.
Give yourself time. No matter how busy you are with your work or chasing goals, make sure you take out time to spend time with your near and dear ones. Also, take a break from your life for yourself whenever you feel mentally slumped. You don’t owe anyone anything. Take care of your body and soul. Follow your passion. We always feel our achievements will make us happy. But that never happens. Therefore, don’t forget to enjoy your present in order to make your future. Enjoy even the smallest things in life. Make memories because these are the only things that you will have with people once they leave you.
Even if some people have mistreated you, be thankful to them because these people are the ones that made you who you are today. There will always be people who will spread rumours about you. Do not let their behaviour disturb your inner peace. Learn how to shut the mouths of these people. Let them find out what you are capable of and once they find that out, they won’t even know how to talk to you.
Your parents can only try to set you on the right path, taking the right path is solely your responsibility. The more successful a person you become, the happier your parents will be. Don’t ever disappoint them. To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honour. It allows us to reciprocate the love and support they gave you and express gratitude for their presence in your life.
No one’s life is perfect. Life teaches us you are what you are and that cannot change. What other people’s social status is should not be affecting your life. You need not be in their shoes. Be thankful for the things that you have because somewhere around the world there are people dying who would do anything to have the things that you have. Don’t complain because there are other people in the world who have a bigger problem than you do. Don’t live your life based on how others live their lives. Everyone has their own problems and each and every one of us does different things to face these problems. Nothing happens in life the way you want it to happen. Keep faith in everything you do. God can and will make a way of no way. Looking back at life is a waste of time. Always look forward and not backward.
You will make mistakes. Learn from them and stop regretting them. Don’t let others make decisions for you because these people will make decisions that will make them happy and not you.
Sometimes one doesn’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their own assumptions shattered. One may prefer to hold on what they believe is right even if they are not completely correct as it provides them peace and a sense of security. They do not want to give up their ‘Delusional World’ which makes them happy. They are trapped in their imaginative bubble and do not want to hear the actual truth and ruin their happy lives. Face the truth, however complicated or painful it may be and accept the situation however difficult it may be.
If any day you have to choose one thing among money, power, fame, and steady relationships, Choose the last one. If your relationships are not in place, nothing can make you truly happy.
Your health is your actual asset, but unfortunately, it is probably the most undervalued thing in this world. We only realize it’s value when we lose it. One dreams about driving a Mercedes, Helicopter, BMW, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, etc but forget about the most beautiful machine they possess. Your body is the most beautiful and powerful machine. The choice is yours whether you want to ruin it or run it.
Your salary alone doesn’t make you rich. I feel being rich is when you don’t have to work for money. When you can pay your bills even if you don’t work. Being rich is not showing off your luxury lifestyle but to reach a point wherein you don’t have to bother about money anymore. Your salary alone won’t make you rich but how you utilize your salary will.
Whatever hardships we face in life, we are always given an opportunity every day to figure out the secret of finding happiness and beauty in life through our pains and sorrows. But many forget to live and breathe in this race. All we need to do is to have faith and thank God for our existence, for being able to love and pour life into others, for having a heartbeat, FOR BEING ALIVE………… COME WHAT MAY………………. LIFE JUST GOES ON.
