Choice, Chance, and Change: The Role of Decision-Making in Life Transformation

Vastu Shastra is an ancient Indian system of architecture that prescribes principles for the design and layout of buildings, including homes, to create harmonious and balanced living spaces. Here are some household things in Vastu that you may find helpful:

  1. Entrance: The entrance to the house should be well-lit and clutter-free. It is considered auspicious to have the entrance facing east, north, or northeast.
  2. Kitchen: The kitchen is considered the heart of the home, and its location is important in Vastu Shastra. It is best to have the kitchen in the southeast corner of the house, and the cook should face east while preparing food.
  3. Bedroom: The bedroom should be located in the southwest corner of the house, and the bed should be placed so that the head is facing south. This is believed to promote peaceful sleep and good health.
  4. Living room: The living room should be located in the north or east portion of the house, and the furniture should be arranged in a way that promotes conversation and socializing.
  5. Bathroom: The bathroom should be located in the northwest or southeast corner of the house, and the toilet seat should face north or south.
  6. Colors: According to Vastu Shastra, each color has a different effect on the energy in the home. It is recommended to use light colors in the living room and bedrooms, and bright colors in the kitchen and dining area.

These are just a few examples of how Vastu Shastra can be applied to household things. Keep in mind that while these principles may be helpful for creating a harmonious living space, they are not necessarily scientifically proven.

1. One of the things at home is Salt

Salt is a source of energy, and in Indian history, no salt was given or sold in stores, especially after evening. It means when the sun sets, the energy source suddenly gets low due to the sunset. Therefore, salt is one of the energy sources, and it should not be given. Upon giving to other after evening, there might be chances of you may get sick or low on energy

2. Whole Coriander seeds

Coriander seeds have taken the most important place in Indian methodology. In ancient times, Indian housewives used to worship coriander seeds on the first day of Dhanteras. Also, at the time of evening, when organic candles light up on regular days, it is strictly not allowed to give coriander seeds to your neighbors.

3. Traditional Sweeper

I never know one of these household things like sweeper

A traditional sweeper should never be given or taken. It is never recommended. However, why? After my extensive research, I discovered that a sweeper is a device that removes dirt and cleans the house, thereby bringing energy into the home. As a result, if you give it to someone after it has been used, you are welcoming negative energy, whereas purchasing a new one is a source of positive energy.

4. Curd & buttermilk

Household things like curd and buttermilk is also one of them cause good and bad

In the 1990s, there was curd and buttermilk, and you never used to get it in the evening from neighbours or from the shops. “Why?” I was wondering. It is said that both are sources of energy after the sun’s energy is gone. Hence, it is recommended that it not be given. However, it is allowed to give only in the morning and afternoon.

Moreover, Ayurveda advises against eating curd at night since it might cause mucus to accumulate. It goes on to say that eating curd at night may result in nasal mucus formation since curd has both sweet and sour characteristics.

5. Give no money on Thursday

Giving money especially on Thursday comes in household things

Thursday is considered Goddess Laxmi’s day of worship. As a result, coins, cash, and metals are also considered forms of Laxmi. Thus, the evening is the time of worship on Thursday. Giving money on Thursday is not good, and if you lend some money, quickly return it or vice versa. Things may bring bad luck for those who have given money to someone. It’s like losing Goddess Laxmi (the goddess of wealth).

6. Tulsi in the corridor

Indian Ayurveda has been given the Tulsi plant, one of the most important plants. Thus, it has many health benefits. Planting tulsi in the corridor is considered to bring prosperity and health to the family. However, it should not be kept inside the house; it may bring negative energy in and positive energy out.

7. Spider web

One of the household things at home is Spider web in the house

A spider web is an indication of the presence of negative energy in the home. Regular cleaning of the house’s nooks and crannies also keeps it disease-free, attracts positive energy, and brings prosperity and good health. Thus, keeping your bike and car clean and neat is always recommended. a clean and neat place where Goddess Laxmi lives.

All of these things at home must be prioritized in order to have a happy family.
