Sunday, February 8, 2026 is Superbowl Sunday. But I am not going to watch it because I don’t care for either team—Seahawks or Patriots.
Alpine Skiing: Women’s Downhill at Olympia Delle Tofane. Breezy Johnson’s score is in the lead. Germany’s Aicher scores second highest. Austria’s Huetter scores third place. USA’s Lindsey Vonn falls down the slope in a huge crash. She had to be airlifted by a helicopter. It was later revealed that she broke her leg and she had surgery, and she is now in stable condition. I don’t like Vonn anyway. I met her at the mall with other Olympic athletes, and she is a very ugly person, inside and out. Italy’s Sophia Goggia takes over third place, and USA’s J. Wiles is in fourth place. USA’s Breezy Johnson wins Gold, Germany’s Emma Aicher wins Silver, and Italy’s Sophia Goggia wins Bronze

Netherland’s Huizinga beats Austria Farthofer. Italy’s Malfatti beats Germany’s Maly, but Malfatti scores in seventh place. Italy’s Ghiotto beats USA’s C. Dawson. Norway’s Eitrem beats Czech’s Jilek. Eitrem scores the highest score, followed by Jilek’s score. Canada’s Bloemen and France Loubineaud also race, but their score isn’t high enough. Men’s Figure Skating Team Event: Italy’s Rizzo is in the lead with the highest score. But USA’s Ilia Malinin takes over the lead, even though he fell. He makes up his fall with a very fast and difficult ending. Canada’s Gogolov is in third place. Japan’s Shun Sato moves into second place, pushing back Rizzo into third place, and Gogolov moves into fourth place. Karl moves into first place and Prommegger moves into second place. Korea’s Kim Sangkyum beats Bulgaria’s Tervel Zamfirov. Kim Sangkyum takes over first place and Tervel Zamfirov takes over second place. Masnak races Karl for the Gold. Karl beats Masnak, before racing Kim S. for the Gold. Austria’s Benjamin Karl wins Gold. Tervel Zamfirov beats Masnak for the Bronze, and Bulgaria’s Tervel Zamfirov wins the Bronze. The race was very close toward the finish line, and it appeared to be by a hair difference. Korea’s Kim Sangkyum wins Silver.

Korea’s Lim and Quan are in eleventh place because the male ice dancer messed up. Finland’s Turkkila and Versluis are in second place. Spain’s Smart and Dieck take over second place with a better score. Canada’s Lajoie and Lagha take over second place. USA’s Zingas and Kolesnik take over second place with their score. Lithuania’s Reed and Ambrulevicius are in third place. USA’s Carriera and Ponomorenko are in sixth place. Canada’s Gilles and Poirier skate into second place. Tuesday, February 10, 2026 News starts with Vogue Magazine has a new head of editorial content, or Vogue Editor-In- Chief. Chloe Malle had been working with Anna Wintour for many years. She is Anna’s daughter with her father, filmmaker Louis Malle, who had died when Chloe was a child. She got this position because she is a nepo baby. Chloe is married to Graham McGrath Albert, and they have two kids, Louis and Alice. Meanwhile, the weather in Irvine, Southern California is suddenly cloudy and cool, with the possibility of some rain later, with temperatures in sixties as well as some windiness. This evening’s walking meetup has been cancelled, probably because of this weird weather.

Tjader is in second place. Norwary’s Birk Ruud uses the Butter Trick, and he takes over first place. In Run 2, USA’s Hall remains in second place. In Run 3, New Zealand’s Luca Harrington uses Esco Grab, which puts him in first place. USA’s Hall remains in second place. Norway’s Frostad falls. Although Birk Ruud also falls and loses a ski, it doesn’t matter or affect his score because his other two Run scores were high enough. The Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium is at Cortina d’Ampezzo: As I watched Curling, I noticed it is similar to pool and table hockey, but the players are on the field or board game floor, trying to control the huge puck-like pieces to move certain directions. It is also similar to shuffle board. It is like a strategic mind game, but it might be on ice. Sweden’s Brother/sister team, Isabella and Rasmus Wranaa win Gold. USA’s the Two Coreys, Cory Thiesse and Korey Dropkin win Silver. This is an interesting reference to late actor Corey Haim and still alive actor Corey Feldman, who were child actors molested by pedophiles. Haim died of drug related issues, while Feldman tried to expose the pedophilia industry. They also had done a reality show, The Two Coreys.
