I watched the last two events of the Winter Olympics 2026. At noon, I watched the Closing Ceremony for the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics 2026, held at Verona, Italy. It will probably come on again at 8:00PM, in Primetime.
Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet story took place in Verona. It appears to be nighttime in Italy, as the Closing Ceremony starts. USA athletes voted Evan Bates and Hilary Knight to carry the USA flag in the Closing Ceremony. The Closing Ceremony in Milano-Cortina 2026 is about Beauty in Action. I noticed an operatic theme with Shakespeare characters and dramatic performers. Classic musicians performed while ballet dancers performed. Opera singer performed, while a Chinese character, a black woman wearing head-to-toe gold, and a jester man in silver walked out on the center stage. The costumes were made from recycled materials. A woman in a fancy hat and gown walks out on the center stage. They all walk on the red carpet. I noticed an ancient Egypt statue of the Pharoah outside. Flagbearers of all the countries walked on the red carpet, around the stadium. Face of Italy and some Italian people are on the center stage, while ballet dancers perform in black and white costumes on the stage. But there were barefoot. Blue light covered the whole scene, as the Italian flag is carried to the center stage by eight people. Italian athletes walked out and onto the stage, wearing one medal or more. Military Police, dressed in 19th century style uniforms, raised the Italian flag on its flagpole. The audience stands up for the Italian anthem. An Italian actress smirks. Italy’s 1994 performers carry a flame inside a fancy glass lantern. Three athletes illuminate the center stage. The words, “Faster, Higher, Stronger—Together,” are on the screen.
The Parade of Athletes, started with the flagbearers, before all the athletes entered into the stadium as a singular and unified group, which was quite chaotic, symbolizing One World Order and Order out of Chaos for the New World Order. As the athletes enter the stadium, Italian performers sang with a band. Guards with long gold cape and hood align their pathway, as memories of Winter Olympic highlights flash on the screen, including the dog running with the skiers and crossing the finish line as well as the moose running in the background at another area of the slopes. My ginger tabby cat, Tobias, enjoyed the bobsledding event because it reminded him of his 3AM zoomies. He was also inspired by the aerials. When I threw a toy upwards for him, he jumped high and caught it with both front legs, while easily and effortlessly landing on his hind legs. Different Winter-Olympic scenes are highlighted. Digital performances of the Beauty of Challenge. Dancers performed a modern dance. The stage looked like an eyeball inside the dark stadium with ballet dancers performing and colorful digital lights flickering neon colors. Italian gymnast on the trampoline. A mysterious siren from the future looks like an icy, glass-like, witch. Athletes climbing a mountain, which looks like a pyramid, and the athletes are tumbling and floating up towards the Illuminati peak. As Sweden received Gold for 50KM Mass-Start Classic and the Swedish Anthem played, I noticed an Illuminati triangular-shaped pyramid in the background with the 5 connected Olympic rings over this peak. Norway’s Klaebo received his Gold, as Norway’s anthem played. Three Norwegians won Gold, Silver, and Bronze at a race. There were performers on top of the stage with a butterfly. Italian DJ performed electronic music, and six volunteers for the Milano-Cortina Olympics went on stage to each receive bouquet of flowers. There was a moment to remember athletes who have died, before the woman wearing a Chinese costume goes on stage with blue fluttering butterflies. There was a performance about hope and harmony for the environment and earth, which involves saving nature and water. Dramatic dancers performed on a smoky stage. A woman walks on stage with a guitar, and she sings an Italian song. Two gondolas sail in, in the background, in a circular form around the earth, while dancers are doing yoga poses. Aerial performers are dancing inside a ring—a symbolism for a new day, and a dancer performs with the glowing ring. The stage floor is filled with colorful rainbows and sunsets. The audience stands up for the anthem of Greece, as the Greek flag is raised on its flagpole. The Olympic anthem is played while the Olympic flag is lowered. A choir sings, and eight military men lower this flag, before carrying the Olympic flag away. IOC Kirsty Coventry and Italian men, maybe president and mayors, are on stage to pass an Olympic flag to each other. The audience stands up for the France anthem as the France’s flag is raised on the flagpole for the next winter Olympics at the French Alps in 2030. An Italian woman sings opera. The stage suddenly turns grayish-silver with glowing lights, and performers on stage are wearing rectangular-shaped glowing backpacks. The performers stand in circles to make out a sun design, and the center stage glows in a bright yellow and orange hue. Dawn symbolizes life and hope. President of Italy gives his speech, thanking IOC and everyone for the work on the Olympics. Kirsty Coventry President of IOC, gives her speech, thanking the presidents and mayors of Italy. Two athletes light their torch from a circular cauldron. Bright orange light fills the scene, and fireworks along the edge for the circular stage shoot upwards. Dressed in all white, an Italian pianist performs on a white piano. She is surrounded by gold, lighted candelabras. The black woman, dressed in gold, from head-to-toe, the jester, the Asian character, the fancy woman, icy-looking witch, and others walk on top of the stage. The circular wreath cauldron is extinguished. There is a blackout inside the stadium? The jester walks through a dark tunnel with his lantern. He reminds me of the Hermit card in the tarot cards. On stage, the DJ performs electronic music, while a singer and dancers perform inside an eye-shaped frame, on top of the circular eyeball-shaped stage. More dancers perform and fireworks shoot out in a circular form, from the edge of the stage floor. Dressed in a long, white and fluffy coat, with a matching hat, another singer performs. She is also wearing white-framed glasses as well as blue clothes underneath her coat. The audience stands up and dances. White confetti, which looks like white feathers, rain over the stadium.
The stage now looks like Satan’s head in red and gray, with two spiky horns. Red light covers the whole stadium. “Peace, Love, and Unity all over the world.” I think it sounds more like New World Order. Dressed in a black and white tuxedo suit as well as black gloves, Achille Lauro sings. I thought he looked like a dramatic vampire, especially with his dark hair sleeked back. Smoke fills the center stage, covering the band and singer. Scenes of earth and greenery is underneath them on the round stage floor. The jester arrives at his office. The Beauty in Action performance ends, as Italy hands the torch to France. Kate Hudson sings, “California Dreamin’,” to promote the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
