“The Matrix” and “War of the Worlds” challenge our understanding of reality, raising questions about whether we truly live when awake or only in dreams. Are we controlled by unseen forces, manipulated like puppets in a carefully constructed illusion?

Nick Reiner’s Schizophrenia Diagnoses & His Medication Changes

This article delves into the possibility that our reality is directed by Supreme Beings, exploring themes from films like “Avatar” and the panic induced by Orson Welles’ broadcast. Could our world be a dream designed to keep us occupied? Let’s explore together.

“The Matrix,” the 1999 film starring Keanu Reeves, presented a profound confrontation with a possible new reality. After watching this film, many viewers might have asked themselves: Do we truly live when we’re awake, or do we live in our dreams? When are we awake,

and when are we alive? How do we experience our reality? Are we like puppets, manipulated by unseen “creators”? Do we live our lives under the influence of dominant forces that govern us, rendering us disposable?

Was “War of the Worlds” a Glimpse into Our Future?

Many years earlier, H.G. Wells’ 1897 novel “War of the Worlds” offered a different glimpse into reality. In 1939, Orson Welles adapted this novel into a radio broadcast. During the broadcast, streets were deserted as everyone was glued to their radios, listening with bated breath. The final broadcast caused widespread panic in America as listeners believed a real alien invasion was underway. This chaos led to the broadcast being halted midway to preserve public order. The subsequent theatrical film became a global box office success.

Why Do We Panic or Become Enamored with the Unknown?

Reflecting on the 2009 movie “Avatar” by Twenty Century Fox, directed by James Cameron, we see another example of a different world. In this film, humans lived in a different world when they slept in large oxygen-filled tubes. This dream world was filled with fantastical creatures, and humans could ride on their wings.

Are We Really Living in a “Matrix”?

I was reminded of all this when I heard on television that over seventy percent of the Black-tailed Godwit population has become extinct in my lifetime. This staggering loss occurred in just sixty years. While environmental issues play a role, let’s explore another possibility. Imagine we live in a reality similar to “The Matrix,” with Supreme Beings controlling our dreams. Everything we see disappears when we wake, and our dreams are directed by these Supreme Beings.

Do They Keep Us Busy to Combat Boredom?

Could it be that these Supreme Beings show us a different “film” each time we dream? Imagine our existence being directed by these beings, who ensure that our dreams are filled with new images and events to keep us occupied. After all, watching the same movie repeatedly leads to boredom and potential rebellion.

Is Our World Created for Us?

These beings might create a fantasy world for us, complete with new details and events to maintain our interest. We, like tame sheep, are managed by a higher reality. In this view, stories about extinction and climate change are mere illusions crafted to occupy us.

Can We Wake Up?

This question has been on my mind lately. Do we live in a specially created world where we only focus on daily production? Do we drive expensive cars and act as bosses only in our dreams? Are these illusions necessary to keep us in line? If we attempt to escape like Keanu Reeves in “The Matrix,” will the real reality also disappoint us? Let’s try to escape together. Will you wake me up if you succeed in escaping?
