If you love Jesus and want to know the deeper meaning of soul, love, and relationship, look no further; just grab this book. The poet that I know personally, my dear friend whose craft really impressed me. Her book, Jesus and Me by Julia Orozco Castro is an intimate and deeply human book, where poetry and reflection become vessels for expressing a spiritual experience shaped by emotion and memory. Her years of experience put together and brought to you a divine power that helps you shape your life of spirituality. The author does not pursue formal perfection or literary virtuosity; instead, she chooses honesty of feeling. Each text feels as though it rises from a true inner place, free of unnecessary ornamentation.
Her work is built around the idea that the soul has its own language and we are unknown to those. Trust me, her poetry reveals itself through silence, wounds, memories, and hope everyone of us has gone through. Through a close, vulnerable tone, Orozco Castro invites the reader to walk beside her in a personal dialogue with faith, where Jesus appears as an intimate presence, a refuge, and a source of comfort. In her journey, themes such as childhood, loss, the beauty of everyday life, and the search for meaning amid human fragility gently intertwine.
The simple and direct language strengthens the book’s confessional nature. Rather than imposing answers, the poems and reflections offer companionship—words that do not attempt to explain pain but instead choose to dwell within it. In this way, Jesus and Me reads like an open notebook, where the personal transforms into a shared experience.
More than a traditional poetry collection, the book functions as a space for inner encounter. It is not just a book but a wand for inner engineering that everyone needs to heal themself. The reader not only enters the emotional world of its author but also finds a mirror in which to recognise themselves, especially during moments of doubt, loss, or spiritual searching. In this sense, the work gains a value that goes beyond the literary and settles into the deeply human and symbolic.
Jesus and Me is, ultimately, a sincere and serene offering to their soul, one that reminds us that when words are born from the heart, they can become acts of comfort and light.

POEM: WHEN DAWN BREAKS
When I wake tomorrow
after a long night,
when my eyes open
to a new Dawn,
and my heart beats
and I hear it smiling…
when dawn breaks tomorrow,
my wishes will come true!
For
I will wear a new dress,
and let it shine at Daybreak,
filled with laughter and songs
in all my mornings.
And I will place as earrings
two beautiful April moons,
because when I feel very sad,
they will light my way!
And in my eyes, I will wear
rays of burning sunlight,
and I will place in my heart
all the love that I have been.
When dawn breaks tomorrow,
I will once again be the Universe,
a cradle where I forever hold…
peace, tenderness, and a thousand longings,
that will lead me to become
the dress that clothed me
when I descended from Heaven.
