Multiple Shining Moments: A Poem on Achievement, Change, and Lasting Impact

It’s easy to say forget,
The one who’s haunted,
The one who’s night unwantedly
painted with it,
Who’s wounds bleed,
The blood you can’t see
No crescent moon,
No sign of revival,
I still hear echoes in my mind
It’s not Gone yet
I still hear echoes in my mind

Seven

With vivid imagery and metaphors, this poem thoughtfully examines loss, longing, and the passage of time, inviting readers to reflect on the human experience.

My eyes wander like a lost child,
Looking for his mother,
Looking for his birthright,
His country,
Like a soldier who lost the war,
Like a sailor who lost his ship,
I am on my knees annihilated
By the past,
You were peripheral,
A brief moment in time,
My pen sewed epigrams.
My somber eyes,
Your sorrowful face,
Deep cut, a wound that’ll leave a mark,
Seven years to
Crumble like a sand castle.

Town

Through simple yet powerful imagery, this poem captures the solitude of loneliness and isolation, offering a poignant glimpse into the human condition.

A fork, a knife and a spoon in my single
Cupboard draw in my kitchen
A chair and a small table
And one single bowl,
No need for fancy cutlery,
As I know I’m the only one in town
And Life will tend to be long and lonely
So I bore my room with books to talk to,
Music to cheer me up,
As I am the only one in this town
And I know Life will tend to be long and
lonely.
A fork, a knife and a spoon in my single
Cupboard draw in my kitchen
A chair and a small table
As I know I’m the only one in town.
