The Emperor card in the Mystical Cats Cards

I thought about my four wooden Nutcracker soldiers, placed on my windowsill all year, jokingly for protection purposes. Although the Nutcracker figure is considered to be a winter holiday decoration, I seem to have mine out all year long for fun and creativity purposes. I have read the children’s novel, The Nutcracker, as well as watched the Nutcracker in a ballet performance by different groups. It is an interesting story. I decided to internet-surf the symbolism for Nutcracker soldiers.  It symbolizes good luck, as it protects a home by keeping away evil spirits. Since I have four of them, I also internet-surfed the number 4.

I have the Mystical Cats cards. This Emperor card is the cat version of The Emperor tarot card
    •  A solid foundation as well as stability in life, which urges a need to be grounded in order to build a life based on purpose and strength.
    •  It involves the four elements—earth, air, water, and fire, which are needed to build one’s existence with balance and harmony. Connecting with nature while meditating on these four elements can help one move forward on one’s spiritual journey. The earth grounds a person, while the fire fuels one’s passion. Water has to do with emotions and love, while air can indicate some obstacles.
    • It also has to do with a certain structure and divine order, helping one to do things with purpose and precision by trusting in the natural flow of life and its cycles. A typical four-order sequence includes the four seasons and the four directions.
    • It is important to set boundaries. It is important to protect one’s energy as well as create clear limits and one’s personal space. Nurture your needs while still having a balance with others.
    • Harmony of the universe. Align life with universal truths so to create inner order.
    • It also represents the 4 archangels—Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel—because they guard the four corners of the earth. They offer protection and guidance. They might be watching over me?
The Emperor card in the regular tarot cards
The original traditional Emperor is like a king with leadership skills, who takes control over others in a productive way
    • Manifestation through hard work, which includes diligence, effort, consistent work, dedication, persistence, and working in a step-by-step manner toward goals.
    • Balance in duality or opposites. Create harmony between the spiritual and material worlds, or even between one’s inner desires and outer responsibilities.
    • Physical aspects of life—one’s physical body, home, lifestyle, and environment for growth.
    • Stages of life—birth, youth, adulthood, and old age. As one progresses naturally in life, it is important to honor each stage in your personal journal. Embrace your current stage, and trust in the wisdom it brings into your life.
    • Spiritual protection, stability, and security against any chaos. The number four in one’s life confirms you are safe as well as being supported as you move in life via challenges, issues, and obstacles.
    • Alignments with the four agreements—impeccability with one’s word, not taking things personally, never make assumptions, and always being and doing one’s best. It helps guide one toward integrity and discipline as well as a mindful life.
    •  Cultural significance across traditions, which includes wholeness, balance, and death.
The Emperor card in the Osho Zen cards--The Rebel
I have the Osho Zen cards for creative purposes. The Rebel is similar to The Emperor card
    • The number 4 in tarot cards is the Emperor card, who has authority, structure, and control. Learn from this emperor card meaning by taking control of your life, emphasizing leadership and creating order in your life.
    • Be patience as you trust the process, stay committed, and know that hard work will lead to success in due time.

Start the process by creating routines to work on goals in a step-by-step manner. Create a consistent work schedule, and start your day with daily meditation and a workout, whether a gym workout or a personal home workout.

Take a break outdoors to connect with the four elements – earth, air, water, and fire. Do some yoga poses outside while barefoot on the soft grassy earth or warm beach sand.  Drink lots of water. Take deep breaths while doing yoga poses, inhaling and exhaling slowly, at least three or four times. Meditate on a lighted candle, preferably indoors for safety purposes.

Organize and declutter home to create harmony

When faced with a challenge, look at it from a different positive perspective for ways to improve your current situation. Such a challenge might be telling you something that you need to do or change to make things better for you. A challenge or issue is not a negative or bad situation; it is just urging you to do things in a different way or do something else, which is better for you than whatever you are currently doing. It pushes you to change, improve, and grow in order to be in a better place in life.

My meditation on my Nutcrackers led me to the realization that I needed to do some reorganization in my life and home. I need to finish work on projects that I have been ignoring. My mind seems to be leading me towards other activities, whether for distractions or just entertainment purposes. I need to become serious and organized for productivity. I need to act like the Emperor card and take control of my life. As an authority of my own life, I need to create structure and order to help me become more productive.
