Released on Friday, 18th July, Saiyaara shocked everyone by earning a massive ₹20 crore on its first day itself, far surpassing initial box office predictions. The film has had a phenomenal first week, with a worldwide gross collection of approximately ₹250 crore.

Janhvi Kapoor, daughter of Sridevi, had a promising debut with Dhadak, which made ₹51.56 crore in its opening week.
In comparison, Ahaan Panday’s Saiyaara has outshined them all — collecting ₹20 crore on day one and crossing ₹250 crore worldwide in just the first week.
On the other hand, Shanaya Kapoor’s debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan (released just a week before Saiyaara) failed miserably at the box office despite starring opposite Vikrant Massey.

In contrast, Saiyaara has shattered box office records. It crossed the ₹300 crore mark globally in just 9 days — faster than several superstar-led blockbusters. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan took 20 days, Tiger Zinda Hai took 16, Aamir Khan’s Dangal took 13, and PK took 17 days to reach the same number. It even beat 2025’s highest-grossing film, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which took 10 days.
